Hey guys I thought I would throw in a few pictures I took of my Imperial Guard Army. I just recently received a Nikon D60 as a gift, so I can finally post some decent pictures now.
These are just gaming models. The pictures seem to make the models look worse than they actually do in real life. I've never seen my models this up close, as I don't use a magnifying glass when painting. It was interesting to see them this up close to say the least.
Hope you enjoy, and as always comments and criticism is more than welcome.
Chimera and Storm Troopers

they look good nice job, although they would look better with more even highlights
chaos marines have the chaos gods on their side, but space marines have games workshop on theirs
Excellent work. Any chance of a photo of the whole army?
CHK CHK BOOM!
WOW you seem to have got armour down to a fine art but try to shade your flesh better verry neat storm troopers and great chimeria mabee im just being picky?
but verry nice over all.
FIRE TEAM ADVANCE...
Grats on painting the army. I'm a guard player and i know that painting 60+ models the same can be a total slog through metaphorical mud and blood and bones and faeces.
But a few suggestions, give the skin of your command squad a wash, especially that priests head.
Also, the wires from your Stormtroopers helguns look really really bright, maybe you could dull them down a bit or maybe it's just the photo.
Anyway, Great job!
I would suggest looking into gravel and static grass for basing, it makes a much nicer finish for the models.
... only triumph could turn pooing his pants into a good thing..
NICE i would say you should look into getting some quickshade ( just goggle quickshade and painting together or u get sumthing about umbrellas) it gives a protective coat and is good for shading
Those Imperial Guard are interesting. It is good to see somebody with lots of Imperial Guard infantry for a change. I like how they look dirty and soldier-like and not to fancy. That kind of painting I have found suits the Imperial Guard very well. Are the Cadians with resperators the forge world model parts?
Nice job, that must have taken a while
