Good morning all just a little help if you would plz.
I have a generic GK (sliver metal armour) army allied to my own chapter of SM (sort of like blood ravens but more bone/white added). To this army im adding an inquisitorial army to bring these 2 together to make an apoc army. Id like the =][= section to look, well inqusitorial, but to add spice i want the troops to be like a private body guard for inquisitor lord. Sorry for the long intro but just wanted to set the picture.
So the colors are red, black and gold for =][= troops but should i throw in another color to add spice or unifi the troops with a logo? I have 2 platoons and 2 IST squads to paint and also the inquistor, his henchmen, 6 assassins (gonna be generic black but surgestions welcome) a chimera, rhino and leman russ (all forge world doors and bits n bobs).
To start this off ive got two standard beares for the 2 platoons (i know i cant use em but i love the model!) so these are where ill start and will set the bench mark for the rest of the army.
Help is very welcome as im used to painting beil tan and ulthwe and my SM/GK are i admit a bit unimaginative! My painting skills id rate at a 5 out of 10, i good but slow (im trying to learn to batch paint but as i started with eldar i wanted to make each of those space elves look great. damn those pointy eared gits!)
3 colours are plenty. Any more and it will look less like a uniform.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
Ill echo CBrate, 3 will keep them looking uniform, and the red will help tie them in a bit with your blood raven-esque space marines
Back in the zone!
