He looks very nicely painted... although I always thought the Khorne Champion would be more... red?
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
its just a very very very dark red, personally i think the really bright reds should be left in 40k with space marines or even Brets, the basic inspiration was Kharn the Betrayer in the 2nd army book, that and it seemed to fit more, armour covered in dried blood/part of the body/magical enhanced. Really i always that GW painted the Khorne armies far to bright in warhammer and its nice i find that my army isnts just a carbon copy of the one in the army book.
Anyways thanks for the feedback guys

I really like him - and the darker red is a nice break from some of the day-glo Khornite pieces. Grats on a really nice mini.
Two's to kill. Ahh, sweet sweet music.
verry nicely done good on you!!!
i love it!
im a 40k painter/player, but this looks great! i too like the darker red...only thing i would do (and this is just me) would be to give the ax a wash of brown ink
chaos marines have the chaos gods on their side, but space marines have games workshop on theirs
hey thanks for the replies, yeah i agree i should change the axe a tad, atm you cant really tell the difference between the gold and bone parts (khorne symbol is bone :-/) I'll put another brown wash over the old bits on te axe and see if that works, again, cheers
Well its about done now, just really very minor tweaking which im will be the result of me never being happy with it, personally i think it turned out very well, thankfully i had all the bits bar the Jugger laying about atleast, i guess now all i need now is some fluff for this guy and he can join the hordes of seemingly never ending hero models (half of which never get used )
