Konnichi Wa, Everyone.
I have a Chaos Space Marine Army, and as the Title says, i need Help on choosing a Paint scheme for them.
Use your Mind' s Eye to pictur each one of the Poll' s Colour Schemes, facing you in Battle. Which One looks the best, in your Opinion.
Say which one of my ideas you prefer on the poll, and post why you prefer it on the thread, if you want to.
You can also post your own ideas, but please hold a certain degree of simplicity, as I am not the best, or the fastest painter there is.

I Bring You Grains Of Truth!
I don't think I've ever seen any marines, chaos or otherwise, painted with Ice Blue although I've been tempted myself a time or two because it is such a nice colour. Like Tentacle Pink, though slaanesh seems to have the monopoly on that.
But nice isn't very chaosy. My own chaos marines are Necron Abyss, drybrushed with regal blue, then drybushed with ultramarines blue then drybrushed with ice blue with progressively lighter drybrushing - and a boltgun metal trim. I think they look okay, I'm not the greatest painter either but all the different blues seem to make them 'glow' a touch.
Its really hard to say without examples, but it looks like you like your metal trims - so from what examples I've seen in the past either of the red schemes are going to work best.
But I'd love to see some Ice Blue marines - maybe chaos black with ice blue panels and a silver trim - a bit like slaaneshi marines but with blue instead of the pink.
I can't say I've seen it all but I live for the things that keep me hollow.
i think ice blue would be awesome, and you would have the most uniqe army out there! go for blue
chaos marines have the chaos gods on their side, but space marines have games workshop on theirs
The ice blue seems like an odd color scheme. Me likey. Of course, it sorta matters on what you're painting, Khorne, Slaanesh, Nurgle, Tzeentch (I think I spelled him right), or undivided. With Nurgle there's something like "OMG lolz i jest paynted mah decayed ded guyz blue." For undivided, tzeentch, or slaanesh (don't forget some pink!), I would go with the blue.
Be sure to post some pictures when you're done, Fleebster!
@Distortiondave: Don't be afraid to paint your minis pink! Slaanesh will not come out of the darkness and eat your brains! (At least, he hasn't done to me yet.) Surprisingly, my pink Necron turned out well, so why shouldn't your CSM attack squad?
How dare you speak out against LO! I shall beat you with a giant inflatable duck and then ban you to the lowest level of hell! ~Karmoon

Just a comment on the favourite so far, blue.
Since it is part of the "cold" colours (Ice Blue pun not intended), you should
consider some warmish bases (I like brown, with patches of Glade Green static grass)
to counter it. Just some food for thought. Best of luck with the army!
Looking at your color schemes, you have basically said;
I would suggest something similar to what distoriondave suggested;Which is to say a paintjob that looks like the Red Coarsairs, but blue. I think it would look good. But I'd love to see some Ice Blue marines - maybe chaos black with ice blue panels and a silver trim - a bit like slaaneshi marines but with blue instead of the pink.
My other suggestion is to paint one or two miniatures in each scheme and see which one you like the best! So what if you have a few miniatures that don't match the rest when you are all finished -- it's Chaos!!
I was of the ones that said the Chainmail... I probably imagined Iron Warriors!
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
I think you should either go with the first or the last one. The red and gold will be very striking and give a strong impression when you use models painted that way. I think that the blue one is good as it is a bit different. Ice blue Chaos marines would be interesting to see. I think as well the weirdness of the blue colour scheme will give you more options in doing interesting paint jobs.
