Right, I recently got hold of a single Bloodletter and a pair of the axes that go with it. I've got the idea of converting it into a Khorne Lord by modelling it into Berzerker Power Armour, cutting the axe in two (just before the shaft of the axe has the cloth on it), modelling into the other hand a plasma pistol.
Feasible? Or should I just cut the head off and model it onto a body like Kharnes?
Well what i would do is keep the axes cos there cool dont bother cutting the head off the bloodletter instead get hold of the old bloodletter champs head, its ideal for what your doing & also saves you messing things up! i would use kharns body for the conversion cos he's got a great dynamic pose!
failing that, use the kharn body but instead of the bloodletter head, use the head with the horns from the possessed sprue! good luck.
Had a better idea.
Using a basic Berzerker - cut the legs off at the knee joints, making sure to save the kneepads. Assemble the body as normal. Get the Bloodletters legs, cut them off at the knees aswell and make sure they fit neatly so that one leg is still straight whilst the other is slightly angled, to give the running look. Lext, the right arm is cut off at the shoulder, the bottom of the axe removed, with the seperate hand too. The axe hand can then be placed into the arm. For the other arm, a simple extra CC weapon can be used, cut to give it the 'raised to cut down on your enemy'. The head is cut offtely, then hair remoulded onto the back. Hair can also be modelled onto the back of the legs. Head fits quite neatly into the space where the normal head would be. Backpack - get Fabius Biles backpack and cut those skulls off. Replace the notched ball things on the backpack with the skulls. Base with plenty of skulls.
