Welcome to Librarium Online!
First model upload so don't be too harsh!!
What do people think? This is my first DP for my GT army (maybe - depending on list)
All C&C welcome...
Havn't got my light setup yet so flash makes highlights very harsh in places.
Harsh layering was deliberate although next time I would probably blend it (armour)
(Flash particularly harsh on the last one but shows some of the green colour blend)

agreed, that looks really nice
Back in the zone!
If there's one thing i can nitpick, I'd say it looks a little clean for a nurgle model. You know, not enough splattered puss and stuff.
Still, that's only a style issue. You did a really great job.
I like it! I agree it could have more puss and stuff, but just personal opinion. It is a paintjob you should be very proud of.
dont be too harsh?!
I'd never be able to have the patience to paint like that!
Its kick ass!
WingWong, you did a really good job. Excellent looking model.
Spambot kill tally. . .337
Thanks for all the comments and I agree on the pus and stuff. Unfortunately, when I have tried to do it before it has never worked. It either ends up too thick and looks rubbish or too thin and doesnt make a difference. Any suggestions?
I also think the base could be better
I think i'm gonna do a P&M project for this whole army getting ready for the GT
I just finished painting this guy up myself. I've got to buy a camera before I'll be able to post pictures, but I like what you've done here, too.
This guy is so fleshy, I found doing some variations in the skin helped him look more diseased. Personally, I use Vallejo's Dead Flesh (a nice, pallid green) to great effect throughout my army, and I really like how it turned out as a contrast color on all his pink skin. It's mostly just a highlight color, and I did that side bulge on his left side with the red warts on it more green, too. So I don't know if you're up for experimenting with him looking as complete as he does, but odd colors like that can really go a long way in the disease-ridden department.
I particularly like what you did with the armor. Drastic changes, and maybe a bit 'line-y' but that seems to work for nurgled armor. Are you going Death Guard, or another all Nurgle force? I'd like to see this on some CSMs, too. That could really look neat.
Still up in the air about whether to do my FW deathguard unit in this colour or the classic green. These guys are up in my painting log (just started)
I have a unit of converted bikers using the FW deathguard using this armour colour though ad it works quite well.
I'll get some pictures up tonight
