I recently came across a bulk tau deal where I gained 7 extra Pirhanas above the 4 I've been playing with. Eventually more will be made up for Apoc, however, fielding 11 is overkill for my playstyle. I figured why not take a hand at making some tetras.
It has a smaller "footprint" and are equiped with all the right loadout compared to a pirhana. I think I inhaled a bit of plastic shavings though as I had to saw through alot of plastic. The "markerlight" is a flame thrower barrel with a shield and a pulse carbine barrel mounted underneith.
It looks a little dirty with some remnant paint on it.
Anyway what do you think? I'll have pictures up once I paint it

I like! Has the feel of a Comanche scout copter, very nice
The Pirahna scheme is the nicest - reminds me of the Phantom Wild Weasel colour scheme from 'Nam...
The commando khaki is nice, but I am unsure that the elements of your army so be so visually distinct - nice paint jobs on the camo schemes BTW!
Those are some pretty clever conversions. Nice work! Gives FW a run for their money, I guess, and shows that if you are willing to do it, most FW-things can be made yourself!
