I'm going to start sculpting a tail for a sguiggoth and would like some suggestions as to what kind of putty that I could use.
The tail is going to be about 12 inches long and I have already built an armature and built it up using tin foil.
I was thinking about using milliput but 4oz doesn't seem like it would even come close to being enough and my local hobby store suggested getting Apoxie sculpt.
Apoxie Sculpt is a great product and it's incredibly inexpensive for the quantity you get. It works a little tackier than other modeling apoxies and dry it doesn't have the flexability of greenstuff, but it holds detail without shrinkage.
Aves Clay & Mache for all your ordering needs.
I think these pick are up on the forums on some old old thread but here's another link to the biotitan I sculpted a few years back. -Pretty much a ton of high quality sculpt without breaking the bank.
