Welcome to Librarium Online!
As some of you know, I'm in the process of assembling an army of Dwarf Pirates
One of the units I'm making use of is the Dwarf Sea-dogs (stats presented in WD 300 I think [Bugman's Lament])
I was considering using the slayer pirates for these guys, but then I thought I could try and convert them.
Having a few bits left over from my 1000 Points in One Week (1000 Points in 1 Week) chalenge, I decided to experiment.
I used arms from the old Soldiers of the Empire box, and simply replaced the hands with dwarf hands. It's only a rough and ready example, but I think it looks quite good.
C&C very much welcome
i like the use of frills and the like...
sounds cool cant wait to see more you seem to be quite devoted to the idea of pirates (your making your own ironclad!!!) so stick to the idea to many times have i seen good ideas die because of lackof commitment...
good luck want to see more0)...

If someone helps you REP them...
Loose the armor, helmet, and most of his clothes. I doubt that any seafaring dwarf would want to go swimming wearing 30-50lbs of gear.
Cool mini, but in my opinion, you need to be a little more careful with the green stuff. It looked a bit sloppy from some angles (but maybe it looks far better in real life). But hey, like you said: it's only a "rough and ready" example.
Great idea, great choice of bodyparts, great positioning of bodyparts. Keep it up!
I'm going to follow this thread.
