Iron Chef III: Abandoned Chapter Keep

    Abandoned Chapter keep

I've decided to make an Abandoned chapter keep of the Black Templar, or at least part of one. Since it is abandoned, I figured that over time it would have fallen apart. There will be two levels when it is all done.

    Items to be used:
    -Coat hanger (required)
    -Foamboard
    -Cardboard
    -x-acto knives
-misc. stuff that I will use to measure and hold things in place.

Here are the plans for basic wall placement.

Here is what I have cut out so far. I figured that I would start with the smallest section first, so if I mess up, it is not such a big loss.

I plan to glue them togeather, and "chew them up" later.

Hey! Look at the little.... Oh ****!

I put them togeather, and used some cardboard from a cereal box to add a bit of trim to the corner and minimize the seam of the larger foamboard. (Which was easy to see.)

Next, I cut up and battle scarred the walls with an x-acto knife. (This is my favorite part.)

I also cut out the beginning of a raised platform that will be on the inside of the wall, and have saved the cut off parts to be used as rubble later.

Thank you. I think the bigger turn out is because you split the amateurs from the veterans. I was going to join the last one, but I made up my mind to late, so I jumped at the chance to join this one.

Also, here is my hanger. I started pulling it apart before I realized I had to take a picture of it.

(And no, I am not using the cd case for anything. Thats just what I was listening to while I was working on the terrain, I just took a quick picture of the hangar, so I didn't clear my workspace.)

Unfortunately, I most likely will not finish this by the 20th, because I have been very busy lately. I will keep working on it though, but it will probably be at a very slow pace. It hasn't really changed much since the last update. (which wasn't very far anyways.)

I still plan on using the hanger to.
