Was wondering what kinds of paint work best with GW models. In the past I used generic Enamel paints from a hobby store, but I would like to get opinions as to whats best. The enamel works well, I think, though it is fairly thick and basecoats don't really show well.
Thanks for your time!
Waterbased Acrylics are what most of the world uses for painting miniatures.
Some people use oil-based inks, or almost chalky dust-like substances, but most people, most of the time, use Acrylics.

Awesome thanks! I'm sure I can find something.
Don't want to state the obvious, but GW has a range of paint meant for painting minis!!!
Try that, lot better than ordinary Humbrol enamels... (at least for painting minis, and they don't screw up your brains...)
Currently painting the Waaagh! of Warboss Borboss - Goff and Evil Sunz warband
I used to use the testors enamels, but I made an almost total switch a few months later to acrylic. GW does have their line, as well as Vallejo paints and Reaper. I haven't worked with Reaper paints yet, but I swear by my Vallejo paints. GW does pretty good too, sometimes.
