    Fury Wings

    Here's the deal.

Fury's are really ugly and really expensive.

Clever plan: Stick wings to some extra bloodletters and make em look sweet. This also has the advantage of fitting in with my khorne army better.

Problem: GW doesn't do bits order anymore*.

Query: Does anyone know where I can find some nice looking wings without paying a pretty penny?

Hoping to crush your blood soon,

    Marlinspike.

*Actually, they do. But it's a shadow of what was once a great service.

I would be shocked it one of these didn't fit the bill:

Privateer Press Online Store - Product Search - Criteria: wing

    The 'Angelius' model:

Seems like at least one of these pairs of wings would have to be the right size. I am reasoning the base it's on is probably a 40mm or so.

    Lich Lord Terminus:

Somewhat mechanical, but probably too big.

    Nephilim Soldier:

    Probably about the right size?

    Harriers:

Probably the right size, again, but a bit nid-y.

Anyway, I would bet one of those would work for what you need. They're not exactly super cheap, but it depends on how many you need to do, I guess.

I need to do up six of the buggers.

I was kind of hoping to find some place that wouldn't mind selling me just some wings. Buying whole models just to take the wings off of 'em seems rather uneconomical.

    The search continues!

Marlin: That's primarily why I linked you to Privateer Press's online bitz store where you can buy just the wings in my earlier post. I would recommend you take a look through it, as you can purchase just the wings.

    Dur Dur Dur.

Didn't realise that it was a bits store you linked me too.

    Thanks a million!

    EDIT:

The Angelius medium wings look nice. Let's see if google can find me some size comparisons...

What you could try is using the Harpy wings from the GW Bitz catalouge, and attaching them to Ghouls
Codex: Legion Astartes - I am in need of Beta/proof readers and play testers
    The Primarch Project
A Hero is no braver than the ordinary man. He is just brave five minutes longer.
