hi all i'm wanting to build a chariot for my orc warlord, but just dont know where to start ive looked at the games-workshop plastic chariot and its just to small for my liking! however the idea i have is this i want the chariot to be big enough to put the warlord and crew member on it while still on the unit bases so that if i lose the chariot in battle i can then use them on foot! it will probably be pulled by 3 or 4 boars cos of its sheer size <_<
i'm just finding that the main prob i have is building the darn thing!
all ideas & help would be most appreciated
Cheers for now Nick

kyarl sez i'm a good little boy and must do wot master tells me!
you could like buy two chariots and put em together. a bit of bulsa wood here and there so its stays together. it doesent realy have too look neat because its orcy so yea thats what i would do.
yeah ive made a start and when its finished i send a pic to the gallery, then here
thanx for the advice, wot ive done so far is -> taken the bottom of the plastic chariot glued balsa to the top in a chariot shape and basically made the sides outta balsa! gonna ad the sides of the plastic chariot also to give it some detail
I've made 1 such chariot but i cant get a pic sorry. In the orc battalion i got 2 command sprues, i dunno if this is normal but it gave me alot of spare orc. Build the chariot as normal, put the buffalo skull over the bit which holds the boars. Stick the 2 spare chariot sides to the back, doubling its length and use various goblin sheilds to build up a rough throne. Bup the orc with the whip in the front and the boss on the throne. For a finnishing touch I got a bit of sprue and put a platform on top, i think it was made from more gobbo sheilds, the stick a drummer ontop of that. It looks good but I'm not sure 2 wheels could hold such a massive chariot but hey.
