I have been messing with some things to try and come up with some ways to add some nurgleness to some non nurgle models. So this is a WIP of a GUO that i am using greenstuff and scultpy to see how it comes out. The pictures are of a poor quality as my digital camera is broken so I am taking these with my phone.
I like it but the right arm looks a bit long (could be the pictures). What other details do you plan on adding?
i have the tusked head of carnifex that I am working on to fit on as a head, this is actually the 2nd attempt at this the first one was good but not nearly fat enough. Once I get the head on i will be texturing it with greenstuff. The right arm is longer then the left but i thought it looked good like it was stretchy/sliming forward to grab something. I will be bulking the arms up as well to blend into the body. I will also be greenstuffing skin to half cover the spine. so its breaking through.
Added a long greenstuff tongue and bulking up arms and adding some boilish marks hard to see through my pictures so thinking its almost ready to start painting.
That arm is still really bugging me...thouhh the overall model is comming along nicely. Are you planning on adding a weapon or any nurgleish simbols?
possibly a weapon, though this is mostly just to try out some nurgle effects. I dunno what kinda symbols the GUO would have. I havent seen any symbols on any of the GW or Forgeworld GUOs.
Looks good so far! I would add in a lot more details to him if you can, start hacking out little chunks of him to represent the decay, then add boils & blisters on parts of him, and finally take tiny pieces of greenstuff and put maggots on him.
Fantasy: Daemons (Angels), 40k: Black Templars
It might be hard to tell in the pictures but he has large boils and blisters all over and his stomache is a large hole with guts coming out. He also has his spine showing through his skin in area. and a large gash on his back. Also there are large tumorous looking growths on his back and body and legs. I really wish my camera was working. He is very much nurglish. I planned on doing some maggots for his base well wormish looking "nurglings". Thanks for the feedback.
