here is my Farseer on Jetbike for my Saim-Hann army.
The conversion was not too difficult, I used a Jetbike model, a Farseer with Singing Spear upper body, antennas and "crystal targeting matrix" bits from a Wave Serpent.
Moreover, I cut and repositioned the left hand (because I like it better this way).
The hardest part was probably the cloak, which I resculpted with Green Stuff.
The legs from the Jetbike model are probably a little too small for the Farseer model, but I tried to make it look better painting them white, with rather extreme highlighting and shading (in order to make them "pop out" more).
As usual, I painted my custom "Lion's Head" insigna rather than the Saim-Hann snake on the Jetbike canopy (my Eldar are Corsairs who abandoned the Saim-Hann Craftworld and they use a different symbol).
Here are more pics (click on the thumbnails to enlarge them):
Hope you like them, as usual comments and feedback are strongly appreciated!
Very clean and crisp coloring... well done! Do you have any more pics of the army or it is the first model? Moreover how many hours did he took you to finish?
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
Sweet, very eavy' metal style, this'il sound stupid but nice pic's.
CHK CHK BOOM!
Thank you everybody for your comments, keep them coming!
@ Tsele - here is a group shot of the first 1500 points of my army, which I took some months ago (related thread).
Since then, I painted a Howling Banshees unit (link to thread), a Dire Avengers unit (link) and a Wraithguard unit (pics soon to come).
Moreover, I am painting more Jetbikes and a Fire Dragon unit right now.
The mini is really rather well done, kudos to you for that. The only problem I have is with his legs. I know, you hve addressed them, but I feel if you had done perhaps a bit of greenstuff cloth over them it would have solved the problem in my eyes. Otherwise, I see pretty much nothing wrong with them. I do like the personalised icon you've used. Very unique. =)
Ouch, that is so nicely done, it hurts! Well done sir!
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

The Dutch Legion
Looks great. Love the paint job, as well as the model. The only problem I can think of is the lighting you use when you take these pics.
