I need tips on what colours to use on my PIP nurgle Blood Bowl team.
I based the whole team on a Beast of Nurgle I built for my CSM-army but neve use.
I quite happy with the paint job on him and want to make the other players look like they belong to the same team as the beast.
I've painted one Rotter (zombie) and I'm quite happy with it. My wife however thinks that the orange colour looks to "jolly". The thing is also that of the other players some have jerseys and trousers and I think that they will end up to orange... What do you think?
Can I use another colour as a complimentary (correct term)? Is orange all wrong? Other tips?

I'd apply orange washes to the zombie's pants until I was happy with the trousers looked. It'll tone down the "look! it's ORANGE" quality.
Use olive greens and highlight with warm greens, ones that work up towards yellow, but again, that muddy olive yellow.
In between coats, apply brown, red, and dark-purple washes. For the same effect you have here, probably just brown and red washes, but more of a brick red.
I'm not quite sure I follow you... Do you mean that it should stay orange? Just less orange? Or more brownish?
When you say that I should apply orange washes, what basecoat should I use?
I don't see how using green washes could help me paint orange.
Please enlighten me. You're tips are appreciated, they are probably just beyond me...
Okay, I mistyped. Use brown washes over the orange to tone it down.
The green and reddish-brown washes I meant for your nurgle BB team to achieve a similar color to the pic you posted of that truly grotesque thing with its boobs opened up. But I didn't catch that the zombies were part of that team. I thought you meant you had more nurgly type models.
Actually the orange colour has a sort dry brushed layer of Vomit Brown which I applied to dull it down a bit. But I will try with some more brownish washes. A dirty look is never wrong when it comes to Nurgle...
The zombies (rotters) are meant to look like they play for the same team as the boob-monster that's correct.
Thanks for your tips.
By the way, how big are the pics allowed to be? And how can I make sure that they are the correct size?
700 x 700 is the max. You might have some utility on your computer to resize them. Any photo / graphic software will have it. There are some freebies floating around on the 'net. Look for thread in the painting forum "The Time Lord is not Pleased" or some such. They mention some there.
