Basically following on from my warboss thread, this guys is my big mek, who I have hated since before I can remember, he is just so stale and un-interesting and I hope to have fixed that today.
Only a few hours work, if that and naturally I'm going to have to spray the body again but its a risk I'm willing to take, but made from mostly plasticard and a couple of ork pieces I give you Bigmek zzzapdakka (not a real name, I'm terrible at naming orks)
A almost front on picture, the bigger hand on the side is longer than needed, but I think it looks cool with that thickness at the front, and this time I added more wires in between joints and also a few small pistons.
His giant weapon arm, I thought the chainsword was necessary to make him look 'urty in close combat, and the shoota is just to give him an option when he doesn't have the shokk attack gun set up.
And all the read gubbins, the pipe again for exhaust, and some rivets and a little mek servitor arm with a giant piston and it's done!
Hoping to hear some feedback about his look and if he has enough gubbins, as a note the head/body is metal so any adjustments to that will be above my patience levels, thats why both the warboss and bigmek have only external conversions.
Looks cool, I like how all the hydrolics are showing... really orky. Is that a capacitor from a circuit board on top of the thing thats on his back?
I was about to say that, swiecki, but I think its a diode or resistor.
I like 'em!
You must work on electronics some, then!
Not really, I just think you can never have enough random gubbins!
Have you thogufht about using a power claw (or wat ever the orks call them) on his right arm, althoguh just thinking about that i might make him a lil bit too crowded
Like a windscreen to a bug
Death creeps up on you until you can escape no more
IT IS INEVETABLE
I have thought about it, and I may still do it, It depends really how often I'd use it, I may actually be able to make on that snaps on and off... If I do you'll be the first to know.
