have in mind that i have only had warhammer for one and a half year and i have never gotten the chance of learning blending so the only paint technique i have used is layering. parts im not very happy with is the blade, the turquose on the bow ( im probably repainting it green), the eyes and i so regret that when i started to paint it i where just going to test paint a cloak, thats why the bits you should cut away are still there and thats also why i didnt paint it black properly so you can see some shiny metal on some places. now that i check the pics i noticed a thing on the back of his right hand glove i missed painting ):
i havent glued him to his base yet cause im thinking of doing a little display base for him. and damn it doesnt look nearly as good as it does in reality.(pictures taken from cellphone)
hope you liked what you saw, comments and critics are always welcomed.

Um, try using the upload image button in the post editor/writer instead of dragging the picture in, because that ends up just showing its physical address on *your* computer, but it never gets uploaded to the site. An alternative option would be to upload the image to something like photobucket.com and then just copy and past the URL they give you.
I'm excited to see what you did with the elf!
thx for the help i now have photobucket, and i hope it works for you guys now
nice one mate he looks really good , how are you going to base him.
Wood elf player- 2000 points worth, Autumn theme
Empire player - 3000 points worth, Green and white
Eldar player - 1500 points worth, Blue and white
im thinking about putting him on some kind of display base with a tree and some neat details, if i do it you can await some finished pics later.
As far as I can see you have done a wonderful job, despite the fact you don't know blending well, as you have said!
A very nice model altogether and if you place it on a scenic base will look even better!
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
It's rather nice indeed, I must say I rather like the blue on the bow- but that's just me. You're halfway there to blending, you had aught to have it sorted in no time at all if this is where you're at.
Up, up and away!
thx for all the comments really means alot since i have spent more than 12 hours painting this little bastard (so many details)
i am going to do a little display base and i want a tree in it but i want too make the tree myself so i went to gw to buy some "clay" but when i told them that i were going to do a tree they said "ohhh then you dont want to buy it from us since our "clay" isnt fresh and we dont store them in a freezer" is there any other shops that sells similar "Clays"?
