Ok so i used to collect warhammer blah blah blah so im going to start again and considring building a terrain and i was wondering what wood i shoud use and 4x6 or something of playboard is quite expensive, but i also have a pasting table in my garage but thats too flimsy has anyone got any good ideas for cheap sturdy wooden table thing
also is buying a gaming mat and sticking it to the wood a good idea cause flocking it looks boring and expensive
Two pieces of 3x4 3/4 inch plywood should do the job.
A gaming mat meh, I don't have much to say about them they themselves are expensive.
Here are some cheaper alternatives. First is a simple table cloth, putting one over your table in the colour of your choosing can really tie your board together. Or just do a layer of sand or textured undercoat and then paint the colour you want.
buy a sheet of plywood and cut it to size. use the scraps for scenery purposes.
The gaming mat is green felt. Don't buy it, buy some green felt.
