Welcome to Librarium Online!
the fotos of the noble is my 1st wood elf but before that i was painting orcs&goblins ( i painted about 60 of them then i lost interest) so youll see a night goblin shaman, and a spellsinger i painted a while ago.
hope you like em.
please comment and critic, but have in mind that i dont know how to blend and the only technique i have used is layering. i have posted a post with the question "how to blend" and now i think i know what it is so on my next figure im gonna try blending.
Well hope you liked what you saw, and i would like you to say which one you liked the most.
They look very good so far. I like the second one the best, the one with the noble facing towards the camera. You have a very good understanding of layering and that in itself is a form of "blending". To achieve a finer grade of blending, really thin your colors down at about 1:4 or even 1:5 paint to water. Wick the brush off on a paper towel or absorbent surface to get almost all of the moisture out of the brush. Then progress the colors off of each other, when shading: from the highest point to the lowest, then the highlights: the lowest point to the highest. This way you deposit most of the color where you want it to go.
Good work so far though! Feel free to ask anymore questions
