I want to give my daemons some cool bases. I think I'm going to give a boiling blood look to my khorne. However, I want to do something for slaanesh bases and I was thinking gold to represent the circle of avidity, but it doesnt mention any slaanesh even being in this circle. So does anyone have any other ideas or know if slaanesh would be found in this circle?
What is the Circle of Avidity? A Google search yields no apparent results. (This thread is on the first page.)
It's in the new Daemons Codex under the Palace of Slaanesh. It takes about anyone that wants to visit Slaanesh's domain can, but has to pass several tests through six domains. The circle of avidity is the first full of riches. If anyone touches any of the mountains of gold or the rubys they become trapped.
This circle of avidity idea sounds quiet swish. Id suggest looking at some of the eldar bases first to get some references for smooth surfaces. Id imagine this place to be marble engraved floor with gold coins and gems scattered. These could be made from plastic card rods and necron crystals. A base printed could be used for mulitple patterns. Check out -T's thread on doing custom symbols for a method.
Cool I'll check that out. Thanks.
If you want to do jewels and riches pop out to a craft store or do-it-yourself jewelry store. These places have loads of pieces of plastic and so on that can be painted up to look like fancy stuff.
