Hey guys, im currently painting my Rhino's at the moment. Just got done with my Death Company so ima try to get a few pics to post up. Overall I think they came out GGGRRREEEAAATTT, so. Down to what I want to ask, can any fellow Blood Angel players or anyone that knows how to, put a step-to-step diagram on how I can paint the symbol on the Rhino's top hatchet and side doors? If you can i'd really really like that.
What I did was this:
I found a digital image of the logo on the net. I copied it into photoshop and sized it to what I wanted. I then printed it out onto paper and covered it in packing tape for a little extra rigidness. Using an x-acto knife - I cut out the pattern.
Placing the pattern onto the vehicle I traced it out using a black micron pigma pen and then painted the rest in.
I did basically the same thing but larger on my rhino with masking tape. Basically I got the vehicle decals and took a curved xacto knife (recommend the curved blade) and did a free hand trace into the masking tape. Then put the tape onto the rhino and made sure all of the edges of the tape were on tight and used chaos black. I don't have it with me as it's on display at my store, but can get some if you would like.
As for photoshop... it doesn't really matter. Basically just used it to "resize" the image to what I wanted...
I painted this last year and don't recall every step I took but that was basically what I did.
Hope this helps...
Awesome, you guys are great! Thanks for all the help ^_^
