I had an idea to create a female Autarch for my girlfriend's Eldar army. When she started she was going to be Sisters of Battle (because of the conversion of Celeste in the back I think, with the angel wings). Since then I've been feeling a bit bad because she plays Eldar instead, so I want to make her a female Autarch with Hawk wings.
Since the only conversions I've really done are Chaos Warriors, Ork un/mounting and Tyranid Hybrids, I haven't really got too much experience with it. I was thinking of using the female torso from the Guardians, and maybe pegasus wings, and if they're too large, maybe sculpting some smaller wings of the same type. The last resort is the cyber wings that the Swooping Hawks use. At the moment I'm undecided about which head I am going to use, but long, flowing hair with a fringe is preferable. I am planning to position her to have one foot on a raised stone on a rocky 40mm base, charging at the enemy with her power weapon (and keeping the shuriken pistol).
Your help will be greatly appreciated!
The female autarch I made recently was based from a 2nd generation banshee model. I gave her the fusion pistol from the regular autarch blister, and I'm probably gonna give her the warp pack from the same blister pack. Her sword is the sword they normaly came with, I like the armor it has on it too. She's turning out pretty good so far, just need to paint her.

you could try the pegasus wing but they might be too big. u could try the wings that come with one of the autarch blisters (the one with the powersword). they are quite cool, better than the normal swooping hawks. by the way, your conversion sounds really cool.
Got a pic? She's turning out pretty good so far, just need to paint her. Thanks, she thinks so tooby the way, your conversion sounds really cool.
I'm gonna look up the 2nd Ed. Banshees then. I didn't think of use that as a base but now you have me thinking...
EDIT: Hmm the Banshee head would be hard to remove? I don't want a helmet on her lol

Sorry man, I can't help here, I have a seriously limited idea of what other races parts look like, without picture s I can't envision anything :o best of luck with it!
Female Guardian body could be a solid start. Wood Elf Glad Guard helmetless heads can be painted up to look female enough, also, as far as a plastic head goes. Some GS tossed in for a cloak or something wouldn't be a bad idea either. You could then get a Dire Avenger helmet or equivalent, hollow it out or something, and set it up like she's holding her helmet in one hand. Give her a cool looking spear and a holstered pistol of some kind; voila, not only could she be used as a regular Autarch, but if you wanted to, she could be used as a Yriel counts as.
(Of course, I've always been of the opinion that the only Autarch worth taking would be a Jetbike-Lance Autarch, otherwise I use Yriel).
Good luck with the conversion, make sure to post pics!
Don't have any pics of the one I made for ya yet, but just imagine the right are being stretched out holding a fusion gun lol. I had to leave the head for mine cause I have the bansee mask equiped if I use her, so it makes sence that I used a banshee. I put her on pause to finnish my blood angels for the moment.
