First off this wont just be a rant I just have had the worst experienc modelling ever. Its not just the kits fault the glue didnt help either but..... The plastic scout kits are abomidable, i running a fully scout list and was gonna convert all my scouts to be hard bitten badasses but the damn kit is designed for that peg to hole design. Its infuriently difficult to convert with. also th fact the tghe opposite hand is pre casted on the bolters supplied is just so irritating. If I sound like a raving mad man please tell me, but if anyone else had the same problrms just want to know. it just seems like the kit was ddesigned to be built one way and one way only.
If anyone has any advice on converting these models or conversion ideas id much appreciate it.
"They shall all taste OBLIVION!,.....which tastes like Red Bull, which is disgusting."
about the only thing i can think of is to file off the offending hand on the bolter. i've had to do it a couple a times converting IG so i think it would work for scouts and after that you could put a thick coat of paint over the remains of the offending hand and that should clear things up. also if u were to use the offending hand to hold the bolter and the right to do some thing else like hold a chainsword or grenade then u would have a completly unique model. tell me if it works.
