Having seen some of the pics in the big Horus Heresy book, I want to make some Night Lords on jetbikes for my army. I've heard there were rules for spacemarine jetbikes in the past, so I thought maybe there were models for them too..

Well are there old spacemarine jetbike models that can be ordered?

Or has anyone an idea on how to make/convert/build them?

Ave Dominus Nox!

There were some Bullock Mk.14 Imperial jetbikes, but you can't order them from mailorder anymore. They haven't been available since Rogue Trader.

Damn! How frustrating. Maybe someone has some old ones they want to sell...

Has anyone got any conversion ideas?

You don't want them, they are OLD and would look pretty crappy next to the new models.
But converting regular bikes could work.

Ok, thanks for the help.

I got a great idea today:

I will swap the front wheel with a necron destroyer platform!

http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefront/st...10002&orignav=9

Haven't figured out what do about the rear wheel yet, but I guess there should be a jet motor there of some sort..

What do you think about my idea? And any ideas about replacement for the rear wheel?

the tail off a dark eldar raider would look sufficiently spikey but still flight capable

or what i think is a better idea is to put bigger thicker exhausts at the back

Using the front of the destroyer would make it look like a ScoutBike from Return of the Jedi, with some scouts on them, they would look awesome!

That sounds like a good idea. It can be done easily too, just some plastic pipes! Thanks Carnage.

I know! But sadly I won't be using scouts, as I intend to use the bikes in a nightlords army. In a recent whitedwarf, in the article about Witch Hunter retinues, I saw something cool. Some guy had painted two storm troopers(the cadian style ones) completely white, and they looked EXACTLY like the scout bikers from Return of the Jedi!

Why don't you make some of those on jetbikes? Or are you busy with other conversion work Fenix?

My latest idea is to replace the rear wheel with a hellion skyboard. I think that will look quite neat.
