Thanks. They're supposed to be cybernetic, not piloted, so I wouldn't do pilots on these.
They're mostly Defilers. The hellhound just has Chaos smoke launchers as a head and a heavy bolter from something on it. It will have a scratchbuilt engine with more wires and a Dreadnought power plant. The tall guy has a Space Marine banner (which was actually on a model before this), some Cities of Death bits, a Space Marine scroll, Cadian heavy weapon lascannon and heavy bolters, a Dreadnought close combat arm cut up to hold the heavy bolters, an Imperial symbol and a top-hatch from IG tank sprue, a Rhino side-door on the back, a skull from the Arcane Ruins kit, and a shit ton of wiring.

Cybernetic ofcourse. I'm amazed how many models have gone into it, I guess you've got it all making such good sense that it's easy for the eye to gloss over the individual pieces.
What if you were to remount the groin skull with a plasti-card cog behind it for the Adaptus Mechanicus symbol?
I guess a normal guardsmen comes to about the top of the first leg articulation?
Looking forward to seeing the Hellhounds power plant.
Well originally the groin symbol was going to be the Adeptus Mechanicus symbol from the Manufactorum set, but it's too big and the box only came with two. As I've already done this one without plasticard, I'm unlikely to make the others look different, but I agree that it would look better.
Here it is with some of my Techmarine trainees (will count as allied Grey Knights) and a ruler that reveals my true name for height demonstration. A guardsman would be a bit shorter I imagine. And here are some Tech-guard from the first wave of the army, if anyone cares.
Haha no way! We are building the same army! See:
Maybe we can give each other some tips and hints
Excellent army... the Walker is unbelievable... Keep up the good work...
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
I like where you are going with these, but I feel more detail can be added.
Maybe some leg armor, some extra pistons.
Something to really make them unique from the defiler kits they were made from.
u did an absolutly amazing job on those walkers and i cant wait to see them done. nice job on the troops too! hope u add some more stuff to it.
I made some Stormtroopers (there will be two squads of ten, including sergeants and two plasma gunners in each squad – those bits haven't gotten here yet) and finished off the first Hellstalker with some wires and a power plant. You can also see some of the Techmarine-trainees. The thing mounted on the Cyclops and the legless pointing Marine next to it are going to constitute a counts-as Psycannon, when I get another pair of Marine legs and a 60mm base.
