Im currently doing my own Space Marine Chapter, which is a successor chapter to the white scars. Their halved blue and white.
Coudl i please have some helpful tips on the best least soul destroying way of getting a nice clean bright white?
I think this more of a painting question than a modeling question?
Your best bet is, of course, start with a white undercoat.
What I have done is to thin down some Shadow Grey and line it into the recesses of the model, then come back through and drybrush white over it, to soften any transitions. This ends up with a stark white, and doesn't allow any highlighting, since you are already at the lightest color you can get.

(This is just an example... it's also one of the first pieces I did, so it doesn't look as good as what I can do now.)
