First ever project on LO, woo.
So, for my Orks I decided on mainly having fast units, with Lootaz (I have always loved shooty Orks) but the only thing I love more than shooty Orks is speedy Orks. So I thought, why not give my Warboss a really big nasty kustom bike? Sure. So the idea of Skreemin Deff was born. Then, I thought, whats bigger and better than a bike, a konverted one.
So, as I browsed through my bitz box I came across an old land speeder. Asking to be salvaged. So then I thought of that Ork quote, "wots faster than a warbuggy, more killy than a warbike, and flies through the air like a bird". So, Skreemin' Deff would now have a Big Mek on the back of it, and be a whole Orky vehicle in its own right, with 2 Orks on board, and a truckload of snotlings. Gunwise, I have no idea what it will end up with barring a Shokk Attack Gun on the back. Which is now going to be Sawsys (MethodicalMeat) MRPCL (Multiple Rocket Propelled Chainsaw Launcher), shamelessly plagarized, full credit here:
So, Photos in the next post. Comments welcome.
Firstly, the thing from a jaunty angle:
As a note it's still deeply under construction, I started tonight. I'm currently working on fixing those Heavy Bolters up (they arent attatched) and removing mould lines from the weapons.
Heres a preview of (one of) the engines
From the side:
I pity the noise marine >.>
I would also like to put up my first ever Ork:
Thanks to any who look, updates incoming tomorrow night, and comments are welcome of course (not so sure about criticism )
EDIT: Scale reference:
That is an'ggrath's axe.
Well, in the rear shot you can see one engine (battle cannon), I will be adding another one, then adding a roof with a raised platform where the mek will go. The Warboss will go in the open area at the front, once it has been jazzed up, and I need to do a lot more work on this, with gubbinz. Once all the essentials are down, I will add armour then Ork glyphs. Tomorrow I will get some edited photos up showing what I'm planning to do.
