So awhile back to save money and to have more dynamic poses (a theme throughout my necron army) I decided to convert Necrons Warriors into Flayed Ones. And now I have painted a batch of them up. For anyone interested the original post is here:
Without further ado:
This is a group view, the bases aren't painted but I paint the bases for my army in large batches after the models are done. The 2 in the back are normal flayed ones and the 3 in front are the converted ones.
This one looks like he would be licking his blades if he had a tongue.....(just noticed that)
This is one of my favourites for 2 reasons. 1, he looks like he is about to jump on top of you and not just shamble towards you. 2, he flayed on ork. Now while that may not be real intimidating to an ork, imagine what a guardsmen thinks when he sees a robot horror that is wearing the flesh of a creature twice the size of a man that is nothing but a raging killing machine, yeah, I'd be scared.
So as always, C&C necessary.
Nice work Nillic. I love the ork one. Classy!
Rome wasn't built in a day, Either should good scenery.
Good work! They look real good.
