    Snap-fit Apothecary

After scrounging a spare necron wraith hand, I carved up a AoBR sgt and took his hand and sword to make an apothecary. The base marine is a snap fit I grabbed from the "learn to paint" bin.

After my first ever go with white, I must say, it is really hard! Glad I've never decided to paint an army with it. From the picture, I noticed a few small problems right away, so I've fixed those. I added a little more highlight to his right shoulder, and fixed the sloppy black inking. Also fixed the bad white-red edge on the bottom of the right shoulder.

I find photos of your own models are an excellent way to notice your own mistakes, as you often see things you dislike or didn't notice.

I'd have to agree with that - all my pictures seem to point out to me all the spots I've missed or messed up!

Having just tried to paint pale white skin on my vampire, and also realising how hard it is, you've done quite well with this guy.
Rabbit; Our Tau community has the talent of figuring out how to turn a feather into a timebomb. Macgyver would be jealous.
8people; Honey, why is my fluffwars story your shopping list?
