Hey everyone, I was recently given a model tank which is a perfect size for a looted wagon. So last night I stayed up converting this model and I personally think it looks good but it seems to be lacking some dakka and some extra orky bits on its top and front side.
It currantly has a boom gun (which i'll be making thicker), and 2 big shootas represented by 2 shootas that have been played to look like the rest of the gun is inside the tank.
I have put lots of extra armer over its side treads and its rear armer, although nothing on the front or top yet. I'm going to be having either a regular ork or a grot coming out of the little hatch on the top, and maybe also an ork coming out of this vent which is a bit behind the turret.
I'm not too sure what armer and extra orky bits to put on the front and top (although I would like some teef spikes on the front) and also dont know how to beef up the dakka, I might also get some rokkits to put on somewhere and just say which guns im using that game, as their glued on.
So any idea greatly appriciated, and sorry I couldnt show any piccies
Well it could look like anything as far as we know, without pics its really hard to make any judgements on what it needs.
All I can say I guess, is it REALLY looks like it needs bigger/more guns, atm its just the turret and 2 normal sized shootas which looks a little too much, but maybe adding extra like a grabba or stuff like that may help.
What this thread is about really, is just what you guys would add to your to orkify it.
If it's at all possible to get a pic or two up, it would make all the difference in the world. This sort of stuff is just soooo much easier if we can see the model!
Failing that, do you know what kind of tank the base kit is? Just knowing what the underlying structures look like would be helpful - what works for an Abrams isn't likely to work on a T-72, never mind an oddball like a Sheridan or Merkava!
