What would they look like? What rules would they use? What would they're actual name be?
Or am I just an idiot?

The last one.
No, seriously, who would want to cyborgise their Tyranids???
Or maybe they are a new race, the dreaded Reavers, kind of like the BAD cousins of Necrons?
Bad Idea, but maybe it would be fun to convert one.
Warhammer Fantasy: Warriors of Chaos, High Elves
Warhammer 40k: Eldar, Space Marines, Orks
I don't think it is a bad idea. Use the Nid rules and models, but paint them as metal creatures. Add gears to make them clockwork.
The fire's going out...pass me another heretic.
Use as Flayed Ones, maybe?
sounds too silly for me. Kinda like Mecha Godzilla..

Hmm... it would only really look good if you spent time converting it. and as tyranids usually have a LOT of models in their armies...
If you have a lot of time on your hands, go for it.
And neil gaiman rocks!
Watch out, he is very vicious.
Lonewolf, unless you're a simpering idiot, I'm sure you can manage a more constructive post than that.
That said, robotic tyranids would kind of violate the spirit of the army, though the models might make cool parts for some unrelated conversion. I'd like to see a demon prince with some 'nid features, for example (I like the new tyrant heads with the big crests).
yes he does! And neil gaiman rocks!
