Ok, so my new SM chapter are well on their way now, but I've hit a snag: the tanks. The colour scheme for my chapter is mainly silver with black and a red trim:
I want to do the tanks differently, but how shouyld I do it? Black with red trim? Silver and black with red trim? I don't want to have too much silver, as that may clash with the marines poking out of the hatches and they'l look like one peice, which I really don't want. My original idea was for black, with red and a silver trim.
Oppinions please Cheers
I think fully red would look a tad Khornish, and all silver would deffinitely clash.
Remember to post a pic when you finish it though
Maybe try a very dark silver, almost black. That should look cool
Vampire Counts Progress Log [W:2 D:1 L:1]
I would recommend Black with Red trim. You can keep the silver/metllic to the pipes, etc. I say this as red is a very small accent color to the marine.

Silver with a red camo or vice-a-versa would look pretty cool too.
Not to many people do camo patterns on the SM/CSM tanks due to the fluff of the marines wanting to stand out. But a chrome and red camo would stick out like a sore thumb and still look cool/unique
Yes, I did deep-strike your sister...
Necrons : W-8 D-3 L-7 (Sleeping in their TombFoam, waiting for a new codex)
Chaos Forces (CSM/CD): W-42 D-19 L-28
Apocalypse Games : W-4 D-0 L-1 (4 Titans, Brass Scorp, 3 Baneblades, 2 Bombers, 3 Fighters, and a Partrage in a Pear Tree)
Looks good, I really don't think it need more silver on the front, but if you decide to the light housing would be a good place to add just a touch more.
