It's my ambition to create a whole chapter of space marines (Yes, 1000+ marines + veichles!) And what better way to get inspiration than from the chapter master himself! My chapter are very Arthurian, so I decided to make King Arthur as the Chapter Master armed with Excalibur (Master Crafted/digi weaponed Relic Blade) I'm also going to give him a storm shield, auxilary grenade launcher and artificier armour.
I've used a Grey knight terminator as the main body, with the head dremmeled out. I'm either using the sword from Karl Franz (Shown) or the sword blade from the HE Prince on Dragon on the GK termie sword hilt. The 'Crown' is the Iron Halo from St.Celestine. The back pack is only shown to give an idea of scale, as I will be converting one for him. I'm also tempted to give him a cloak.
nice job so far!.
just wondering but how will the sheild arm be posed? will it be raised as he is blocking an attack or something else. will u be doing anything special with the base besides putting some bits in green stuff (not that it wont look nice) cant wait to see this painted
Nice work, I recently converted my chapter master that will use Lysanders rules and i also used the morauder head, cant wait to see it finished.
Lol, that he does. I must say, it rivals mine.
Anyway, I would suggest you try the HE sword and post the picture and have the viewers take a vote on it.
If I were you, I would go with the High Elf sword because of the fluff. They are ancient and magical blades. Excalibur is supposed to be an ancient and magical blade. It just fits.
Looking good so far! Keep us updated!
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
I haven't decided quite what I'm doing wih the shield arm yet tbh. I'm probably going to make the shield out of plasticard though.
