So, as a new person to the conversion scheme of things, where should I start for doing a conversion for Cyborks for my Greenskin 40k army. I was thinking of doing them as a frankenork army lead by a painboy.
Though, suggestions, ideas, all welcome.
valetudoguy, I THINK you might be in the wrong forum. Um...try again.?
Kinetic, start by looking at the bits that come in an average ork box. Then look into that plasticard stuff that all the ork modeling-nuts seem to like. And get some practice with green-stuff. Cybork actually sounds like it could be rather tough. Lots of small-details and whatnot. But good luck.
Yup, that is brilliant!
Seriously though, some cool hands could be a drill for one and a vice for the other or screwdrivers and soldering irons. you would use actual mini drill bits and those cheap and flimsy mini screw drivers and pin them into the arm of a CYBORK. or put a drill bit into the end of a SM Bolter cut the ammo clip off and paint in makita blue "instant hammer drill cc weapon"
For vices you could use servitor arms or could patch some together with the thick bits off plastic sprews and green stuff, paint them black and yellow hazard colours and your sorted.
Also get some very small brass tube cut it down to about a 1cm hold it in some pliers and heat it until its "hot hot hot, but be careful" and just press it into the eye socket of a plastic CYBORK it should just melt the plastic and slide right in giving you an instant zoom eye when it sets.
Are you Spork man?
If you do things right people wont be sure if you have done anything at all.
