I raelly like the idea. Reminds me of WWII beach landers. Well done. I like how it actually fits models too. reps
Black Templar (W/D/L): 4/6/2
Dark Eldar (W/D/L): 4/1/0
Warriors of Chaos (W/D/L): 3/0/1
"I'll see you on the beach!" -- Tom Hanks, Saving Private Ryan
Nice job. It's so rare to see transports that can actually HOLD the models they say they can. Do you anticipate problems in-game with it, or are you just playing friendly?
I don't really play in tournaments so the whole WYSIWYG thing should not be a problem. I played a game with it the other day and one problem I noticed was when trying to shoot the turret the range is a bit nerfed because I measure from the back of the Chimera and have to account for the 6" or so of the actual carrier, so I measured where the turret would be on a real Chimera and just measure from there.
Yeah I based the design on a higgins boat with tank treads haha.
The paint job seems good as well. I agree with you that a few more coats of red are needed to get a good coverage.
Good work mate
Wow! That is brilliant. I was also thinking Saving Private Ryan when I was looking at it. I like the looks of those Troopers inside it too, They look abit like Mech-Guard from a Forge world.
