Right, well I've been out of the whole GW thing for almost a year now, and after (foolishly I must add) missing the 2008 LO meet I suddenly find myself hit with the urge to do a little more than just fondly reminisce. As such I've dusted off some of the old, unpainted models languishing in the attic, and I'm going to paint the damned things if it kills me (which, knowing the speed at which I do anything, it will).
Here they are in their bare plastic glory. Seem disappointing compared to some of the other gems I see on this forum, but that's life. (I know twin assault cannons in 5 man squads are now gone btw)
To all of those who remember me - hard luck, I'm back
To all of those that don't - hard luck, I'm back.
Hope you like the termies.
Rich! Been a while, very happy to see you back!
The Terminators look great, even though the pictures are a little dark, I can still see the details fine. Maybe try to get some more light going so we can see them better (and once they're painted; don't want the darkness messing the scheme up in the pics).
Glad you're back around and such, looking forward to seeing these suckers painted.
Yeah, the pictures are pretty crap - took them in a rush with very little direct light being cast on the models. Better pictures will arise when I've gotten them painted up and ready fo' killin'
Cheers for your ideas. Anyone else like/dislike the models. I'm keen to hear ideas for improvements etc.
Just 1 point. It seems that one assault cannon (?) (gatling thingy) has the barrels drilled (good) and one doesn't (bad).
Turn that frown upside down.

Yeah, the sergeant's storm bolter isn't drilled either yet, and there are some GS needs. It'll all be done before basecoating this weekend. I've got shedloads to paint, perhaps I'll start me a WIP thread.
