Metalic - Silver
Metalic - Gold
I've made this thread to go along with my 'Colours of an Army' thread in the painting forum. Tell me the colour of your world - lush green jungles, brown muddy battlefields, the white of frozen snowfields...
Vote in the pole above, then give a little more information about your choices below. The colour categories are broad, but chose which one best fits your scenery and model bases. Multiple choices can be made if you have several different terrain projects. I know scenery can have numerous colours, but choose the one that defines the majority of the scenery! (i.e a pink slaaneshi world, a green forest).
LET VOTING COMMENCE!
I didn't mention it above, but I voted purple. All my current scenery is based on a work of jagged purple rock. I'm getting some fluff out about it soon, so you can read more about it then if you're interested.
All the scenery I make is generally in shades of black and grey to tie in with the volcanic wasteland bases on my models.
Desert. That's the key to mine. Desert battlefields.

I really really love midnight blue scenery. Because it highlights the models on the board due to it's dark color but with the right dry brushing, and use of metallic blue paint it looks breathtaking but not at the expense of my models.
right now my board is colored a dark brown but I am thinking about changing the coloring when I get more paint and finish the cathedral I'm working on.
I believe that the future should be covered in dirt and grim. And since my planet is snowy, I picked grey. The ultimate neutral color. It goes with everyting and weathers the best.
It's hard to say what my 'world" is colored.
I'd have to go through and choose one of each..
My world is not one enovironment. It's many that make up an ecosphere.
Now if you mean the bases of my Marines? or the bases of my scenery?
Most of my scenery is urban based. Ruined administratums, crumbling Bunkers
Greys, blues, blacks and some tan.
THe ground is long covered with rubble from buildings, the dirt beneath the city hasn't seen the sun for decades, and the planet's region where my Fleshtearers are based , is in a city.
Some of my scenery is based on outdoors and in the wilds of the planet of Shonuff.
Greens and browns, mud and grass, grey rocks and black shadows.
Rome wasn't built in a day, Either should good scenery.
Zema wants pink, obviously!
But really, my world is a destroyed city, that's what all my 40k models are based on.
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.
