How to paint Dark Angles to golden demon standard?

I was just thinking with models like Dark Angles which colour schemes are pretty all much the same how do you paint these to a Golden Demond standard.

Well I'm no golden daemon painter but from what I've seen it by really well blended use of green (no obvious point where a brighter paint has been aplied) on the models and creative and amazing detail in the freehand iconography. Usualy it's wings or a big cloaked guy with a sword.

Blending, freehanding, glazes... all the top notch stuff, nice conversions, all good qualities of a GD entry. You just need to learn to blend the greens and robes etc, but don't expect great results first time.
