In logic, Ork blood should also be green, but red just looks better .
Purple tau, interesting idea, and I like it. The contrast of the icey blue is also good. The Ion cannon objective marker is looking great and the commander holding his helmet is a nice touch also. You've also done a good job on the photo taking. The Tau on the ground looks a little weird though, but I still can't get bodies to look good on bases so I can't really help you there. The only advice I can give on that is to darken the blood a bit and give it a coat of gloss varnish, as it's a fresh wound and would still be wet and shiny =). Other than the unfinished bases though, you have a good contrasting scheme and they're looking great .
They have blue blood, but i learned that AFTER i had it painted.

Ok, here is the deal with that. i liked the idea to put them in a area for my entire army. so i desided on a snowy, icey planet. the dry brush is like spacewolfs gray and i mostly whent over any hard edges for the snow getting caught on the armor or guns
