Hey, I read in the codex that if an Ork vehicles has a red paintjob, it moves +1 in the movement phase. Does it need to be entirely red? Or can it have a few other colours, I play as the deathskulls so i want to put a few bits of blue in it.
Well im no expert but i think its a matter of how you want it. As long as theres a noticable amount of red i doubt itll matter, or just tell your oppent that your orks say "blue goes faster"
lol, too bad my only current opponenets are my freinds, and the only place I go to play is Games Workshop and the only guys that hang out there are experts. XD I would get slapped upside the head for saying that! lol
I am playing Bad Moonz so I have a ton of yellow on my trukk - but what I did is paint red around the engine "bay" and the ram and such... then i did accents in red and put some red gubbinz on... all in all my trukk is a rusted metal/yellow color.

red Paint Job means that most of the paint on the Trukk is red, or at least close to half should be.
Yuo should not slash a strip of red on it and claim it is Red.
But putting blue Glyphs or Blue parts on it will not undo the red paint job.

Just paint it blue. Noone with a right mind will care.
If you get those really fussy opponents on a regular basis, just have your trukk whatever colour you want then two options; paint go faster stripes in red, that'll be sufficient enough for the vast majority of players really. Or have lots of blood spattered all over your vehicle! Then you get the best of both worlds then
Personally I wouldn't worry about it much, as long as there is a noticeable amount of red you shouldn't have a problem.
