I'm thinking of getting some of these I-kore modals (see below) and 'defiling' them to become chaos (lost and the damned). The only problem - what to use them as?!

Ideas so far:

Hellhound

Rough Riders

Rhino/Chimera

the "Rhino/Chimera/Hellhound" models are WAY to light for what you want to use them for, I don't know what to make of them though. Maybe you could try and VDR something? Open topped, light vehicle, souped-up engine, 10 armour all-round and an inferno cannon.
The "Rhino/Chimera" could have a little transport, but probably not 10 since it's pretty small.
They'd look great in a desert-themed army, but L&D?

The other 2% are smart enough to question the 'science' behind that number...
And it's spelled EMPEROR!

With a suitably nasty colour, and crap loads of spikes im sure they would be ok. I'll come up with the VDR rules later.

Nah, bad idea(sorry). These would suit Orks or Tallarns better.

I'm thinking of using them as a looted vehical type of thing, that the traitors would steal off local people and maintain themselves. I would use it as a transport option for a traitor squad. Fast, open topped, armour 10, shotgun. Thats pretty much it. Oh and 10 men transport.

I like them, they have a Mad Max look to them. I think the traitors would use whatever they could get their hands on.

Heres the rules I've come up with:

Transport Buggy
Front: 10 Side: 10 Rear: 10 BS: 3
Weapons: Shotgun
Type: Fast, Open topped
Transport: Carries 10 Modals
Points/Modal: 53

What do you think. Seems a little overpriced - but hey its custom made so should be! Its perfect for my traitor squads

Shotgun???

I think it would be cooler if you maybe considered something along these lines:

Ranger Jeep Squadron
Category: Fast Attack

A squadron consists of between 1-3 Rangers Jeeps

Points per Ranger Jeep: 40

Front Armour: 10 Side Armour: 10 Rear Armour: 9

Crew: 5 Imperial Guard

Type: Fast Open Topped

Weapons: Heavy Bolter (+10pts) OR Heavy Flamer (+5pts) OR Multi-laser (+10pts) OR Autocannon (+15pts)

Fire Points: The crew may fire their Shotguns from the sides and rear of the Ranger Jeep

Just an idea...

I just made it using the VDR. I'd take the guys off the back, the only weapon left would be the drivers gun! I have the option to slap on a heavy bolter but It'll cost 15 points! I think its just useful for the transport option. Also it lets me use the traitors as a fast attack choice - which means an extra russ Damn I hate the 6 trop choice limit <_<

I like it. The points aren't too bad, but that is VDR for you.

Where did you find the quads? They also look like Junker vehicles.
