I am very new to all this and am still very much learning but I thought I would show you all where I am now ...
I fancied trying something with extreme highlighting and decided to try a 40k figure this time. The decals were truly horrible to use in case you wondered.
The camera hasn't been too kind - the figure is nicely matt and not at all glossy as the pictures make it seem - except the eyes that DO have a drop of gloss over them. For my 4th figure since I started I'm happy enough and learnt some more stuff - which is nice ....
Holy cheese! Amazing for your 4th model.
Tut tut tut... Mind your language now please... -t.

You show an aptitude for painting models, keep it up and keep us informed!
You don't even wanna see my 4th model..
W/D/L Rumpin' BackThumpa's WAAAGH, 38/3/21
bravo for such quality with so few, likewise you wouldn't want too see my 4th model. He was turned into fresh geno-upgrades to my new Hive.
I bet I've painted 400 models and not made one look as well as that.
I can't say I've seen it all but I live for the things that keep me hollow.
very nice indeed... I can't even remember my fourth model... but i know it sure as hell didn't look that good.
Slaanesh, god of the beer goggles
Thanks for all the kind comments.
I would like to get good enough one day to take on some commission work maybe (for gaming models not really showcase stuff) so your comments are encouraging - maybe that could be possible some time.
