I'm a very indecisive person myself and have to have my armies themed or I end up not liking it and selling it . The way my friends and I play aswell means that we don't realy care how each others armies are made, aslon as they follow the rules.
More to the point, do you think that I could get Lord zhufor to fit in a daemons army as the skulltaker ,I hate the model for the skulltaker and even though zhufor is wearing terminator armour he is awesome.

Maybe if you make him all daemonic with bits and such. You could also use the skulltaker special rules and make up your own fluff for him as a daemon prince or something.
head swap with a plastic bloodletter?
Have you considered the old chunky bloodletters as a skulltaker/herald? Not that hard to find on ebay.
As long as your opponent agrees you are fine, no conversion needed really just make sure you tell them that it's a "Counts-As Skulltaker" as soon as you put him on the board.
Or as people have said he would make a great Daemon Prince
