Just out of sheer curiousity, what do you listen to while you paint?
I find myself listening to a lot of soundtracks or classical music while I do it. I've tried listening to rock and classic rock, but I find that listening to something that's flowing and more than just 3-4 minutes suits the mood a little more.
Lately I've been painting my daemon army to the 300, Kingdom of Heaven, and The Dark Knight soundtracks, not be be total nerd, but hey, it gets the paint on the mini. Dark music is great for painting daemons!
However, I've painted some daemonettes before my Khorne units and I found myself jamming to some Prince for a bit. I'll probably throw some tracks on from "1999" and "When Doves Cry" when my Keeper of Secrets gets here.
How about you?

40K Radio, Podhammer, or D6 Generation podcasts... Great stuff to have on while painting.
Ric's Game Space
I listen audiobooks when painting. Listening a good story goes well with painting. You paint, but without the feeling you've really been busy for long (until you start cramping, of course. ). Also, audiobooks are relaxed enough (cause they're just speech ) to keep your cool as well as a steady hand, which gets harder if you put up those dancing beats and the stuff you sing along to.
I usually listen to Ludwig Van Beethoven while painting and modeling.
Turning on games is always fun, but I tend to get distracted and start watching it after a while, especially hockey.
I can attest to audio books. I have a whole bunch of Dean Koontz and Stephen King books that I occasionally pop in while I'm painting, although I use them a lot for work.
Talk radio is also good; call me a nerd or whatever, but I do enjoy listening to NPR, MPR here in Minnesota. I haven't tried any of the Warhammer Podcasts yet though; what are those like?
T.V. usually unless I'm kind of stressed out then I pop in some classical music (I like mozart) or mabey some opera (my favs being pagliacci or Lakme'), very soothing when painting.
