Hmmm... I'm not too sure on the skin, if I'm totally honest I think its bringing the quality of the whole model down. Have you ever considered doing an orange instead?
Well if your sticking with the purple skin then good luck, but if you were to change to orange then I think a nice ice blue would really make this model stand out.
I'm Useless :D
Lol shut up Jake I'm trying to be serious
Well ok then.. yh it looks awsome, I like the grey that you've already started on the plates.. I would suggest gold for the trim but i know you hate gold and silver would look weird,, hmmm... maybe a blue because that kind of fits in with the Slaneesh theme as they are blue and purple colours.

Of course it looks good, it's PURPLE! And nicely done purple at that.
Anyway, onto the trim. Personally I've found bone and light blues to be effective contrasting colours to purple, so maybe you could use those for the flat areas, then combine with maybe a dark metal colour? Possibly Tin Bitz? I've always liked how Tin Bitz and bone go together personally, so it'd be interesting to see it done on one of these creations, especially with the purple content.
This was my entry for one of the painting comps a while back, pity I don't have any better pictures available =|. Anyway, that's the Tin Bitz/bone contrast which I think looks good, although you can't really see too well with the red. Ignore the nid.
Since that was a one off and I'm not actually doing a chaos army as of now, nor do I have one, feel free to use the scheme if you wish for whatever reason, although I expect you already have an idea planned out =).
That's a nice raptor seasonreaper. You might be able to see the gun on my soulgrinder is tin bitz with boltgun metal drybrushed over. I think the purple,Space wolves grey, bone and tin bitz will go nicely
I really do like the purple, and I think gold goes with it excellently. A lot of soulgrinders don't look very hot, this one is very nice. Cheers!
I love it.
