With recent rumours that C'Tan are going to be removed from the Necron Codex and replaced with tiered Necron Lords, I've started to convert a model which could stand in for either. A high ranking Lord or a C'Tan. I'm using the Deciever model as a base. I added a two handed weapon from a Tomb Kings Ushabti and a standard Necron Warrior head.
The idea is to build on top of the Deciever's cloth, make a hood and cover up the joins at the shoulders with flowing cloth. I'm having some trouble with it, so my question here is two-fold:
a) What do you think of the model? A good concept, worth continuing with? Or poorly executed, back to the drawing board perhaps.
b) What is a good technique for making flowing cloth with creases and the like? I have to add the creases before applying it to the model because they have to flow around the arms and such. I need some advice!
looks pretty good, even though i'm a bit partial to the flowing robe on the GW nightbringer.
How Did This Get Here I Am Not Good With Computer
Excellent idea and fantastic beginning! I've heard those rumors too, and I think it's such a shame...but if it inspires conversions like this, I won't complain too much. Rep for you!
The Emperor set a fire in their hearts that they might burn the iniquitous and the impure from his sight. And the light of that flame shall be as a beacon to the faithful, a light that shines in the darkest places.
