I found a pot of Codex Grey that has been sitting in my closet for the longest time.. it's seized rock hard. Any way you know of to bring it back to life?
There's two options:
1> If it's a hard outer skin over a gooey inner part, try removing the hardened part, adding water to the gooey stuff, and stirring it thoroughly. This may bring the remaining paint back to life.
2> If the whole thing's hardened right through, the solution's even easier - go to GW, and buy a new pot because that one's done for.
better off getting a hole new one like Wraith says, but hey look on the bright side now you have a grey crayon!
Wasn't there a way with a drop of dish soap (the liquid one) and water and vigor stirring?
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
My friendsaid he had read to use a microwave. But do not do this lol as you can imagine it took alot of time to get all of the tentacle pink out of the microwave as the pot ended up exploding, BAM!
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
If you really need to try to save the paint, try adding some water and let it sit overnight. The paint should soften up and then you can stir it for a long time with a toothpick.
My paints harden up all of the time. I don't paint very often, but when I do the urge hits hard. Since I don't paint regularly, when I hit the paint bench I discover all of my paints are the consistency of sour cream. I add some water and shake the pot vigourously and that usually works for me. I've never had one go rock hard, that must have taken a long time, .
Yeah, just lots of water, shaking, and/or stirring.
If it's truly rock hard, get a Chaplain and Apothecary in there and make its death a comfortable one.
