High everyone here is my newest model Grumlok and Gazbag, got it from WAR collectors edition
ive spent a long time on him.....mostly becuase i dont paint often im an awesome procrastinator
so anyway you can see the WIP, link in sig
also i used brush on varnish and got a few mess ups on the metals they are hardly noticable IRL but they got piced out by my flash in a couple photos....uh enough jibba jabba pic time
keep in mind these are my first greenskins
lawl oh my gawd why iz thiz in heere?!
so painting this guy and the stomach plate made me love red =D
mmm shrunken dwarf heads and i love the moon make me want to play gobos....but i just started Wood Elfs
alright there he is i love him and i will eventualy make him a scenic base just aint got the stuff right now, also what is a good spray on varnish
catch ya later buddies
I really like the moon. Yellow is hard but I think you nailed it. For a good varnish I use some sort of art stuff. I bought it at a paint store. I can't find it now but I know the bottle has some brushes and paints on it. It is also matte.
The Great Plague meets The Devourer of The Galaxy. What does that make us?
fantastic job overall, I would suggest maybe some more highlights on the brown cloak, right now it looks flat compared to the rest of the model but overall great job keep it up
so about the cloak it is a bit flat but i think the picture makes it look even more flat than IRL
for the base i have no idea maybe some big rock/bolder things make him look like hes on a cliff looking over something but realy i dont know suggestions are welcome for a base
the yellow was not to hard to do but it took a while...i used all the yellows gw has i think and i actualy cant remember what i started from i think brown but it looks good so yay...though i should work on remembering(my tau sept color is yellow)
I really like the wide range of colours you've used. The yellow moon has been done beautifully, and the metals look perfect for an Orc. Top stuff.
