Hi, I play chaos space marines and Witch hunters. I am pride my self on my ability to paint my miniatures to a somewhat better than table top quality. I am not all too sure about how to go about painting my vehicles. There is a whole lot of extreme highlighting involved it seems and I would like to know if any one has a tips and tricks for extreme highlighting and weathering?
I would say paint it as you would normally would and then with the detail brush do all the highlighting. I do the same. It takes more time than normally but I really like the result it gives me.
As for weathering I always use the Large Drybrush to make mud in layers of brown...
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
I hear that the airbrush is very good for achieving a smooth, consistent finish but personally I've found the results inconsistent - it needs practice IMO.
